The effects are listed in the boolet that comes with the product, it's not just a brochure! I just think that people need realize that the company does not deny that these side effects can happen, they even list them on the web site. It just seems that you people are surprised by these symptoms? Why? I know all the risks and complications including uterine perforation which is about one of the worst complications, it's a chance you take, if it happens that I cannot handle the device at some point I will have it removed but I can't say I wasn't warned by the company that makes the device. Remember that doctors don't always know everything, and some doctors are better informed then others, if your doctor denies that you are having side effects then find another doctor, because they are listed side effects to the Mirena. Check the website and see if they are listed there. I can say that I am in canada and maybe I received a different booklet in my product, it is made by Bayer here, but I opened the box and took out the consumer info book and read through all of it.
