Re: my difficult child. Please offer some insight

Please be aware that the gluten blood test isn't full proof. It can miss the antibodies if she hadn't been eating gluten. Also I don't think it picks up sensitivity to gluten.

That's great she's taking iodine. She's probably detoxing and that can cause behavior issues too.

After having 12 years under my belt with a strong willed child, I can say this:

A strong willed child doesn't want to be difficult or be in trouble all the time. They don't misbehave just to misbehave. They're just more prone to more than their share of misbehavior if they're sleep deprived, if something they ate is making them hyper or something is overstimulating them. My daughter, for the longest time, would, after a long day with family during the holidays, literally start bouncing off the walls. It was just over-stimulation.

There is usually something external happening that is causing the child to misbehave: lack of sleep, over stimulation, boredom, possible food sensitivities . Please don't overlook halide detoxing from the Iodine as a possibility too.

Your daughter is also still a little young to be able to control all her "big" emotions, especially if she's not getting enough sleep.
