Re: Nice and easy intro to Kimchee

thanks..I bookmarked it and will have to try it in my harsch crock about I finish my juice fast.

IO saw a recipe in my saurerkraut book for fermenting pumpkins and will have to try that maybe getting a few pumpkins after Halloween cheaper hopefully.

I am shocked. I recently became a vegan and am aiming for lots of raw foods and I never knew that cruciferous veggies raw affected the thyroid.

since I first started being fatigued badly at around 20, I have had no energy for nearly 4 decades and I suspect tyroid problems as I have several symptoms of this. I had been upping my use of all veggies including cruciferous ones raw and now I find this out.

Darn as I really like some of these raw like coleslaw for example in large amounts, but glad I got the heads up from reading your posts.

Not sure how good it is but I recently found commercial raw sauerkraut for only $2.50 a bag at whole foods store.
