I use about6 oz. of dole pineapple juice (can)and mix 2 to 4 oz. of very cold water into it. I then put 1 tablespoon of the clay and mix. I put a new straw into the glass and then I add the 1 tsp of psyllium to this mixture which floats to the top of the glass, so I stir and stir really quick and then with the straw I drink the mixture down at once, stopping just long enough to breath......(smile)well, with a straw you cant really taste the shake to much and though i have tried many juices and do use apple cider also I find that the pineapple juice masks the entire flavor of the psyllium and Bentonite clay better than the other juices. I usually do two shakes a day ( i want to do more) and still get out the ropey yucky stuff every morning. Blessing to you, Sherry
