Congratulations on deciding to water fast. Great decision. Zantac and drugs alike are killers, it will just make matters worse. I have been there.

I had the same condition for many years. Liver Flushes and fasts have helped. In my opinion, severe gastritis is due to Hpylori bacteria. If you had a biopsy done then the docs would have told you that. An Australian doctor discovered this bacterial infection after he infected himself with it and found that this is the main reason for ulcers as well. If this is the reason for your gastritis, you may want to take collodal silver to clear up the bacteria. Like me if you have hiatal hernia then there are NDs and Chiropractors who can fix that.

I still have reflux almost every night at 4am when I am totallly relaxed. I just drink water when that is unbearable. I am a born vegetarian and had no animal products except milk, which I have given up for many years now.

Diet and exercise help me a lot. All my fasts have helped me, but I have to try a long fast to get rid of the reflux totally. My longest fast was 22 days and greatest experience of my life besides my first liver flush.
