Re: Water fasting problems...please help!

#67293,
as you are aware Esophagitis is a catarrhal inflammation of the esophagus which accompanies catarrh of the throat or of the stomach. It represents an extension of catarrh from these other parts.
Any "itis" just means inflammation of the prefixes of that particular body part such as in gastritis and so on.

The particular gastritis you have described sounds like "toxic gastritis" which is a more serious condition, and can even be life-threatening, as it involves burning pains within the throat, gullet and stomach and consequent scarring.

You are indeed best to Water Fast only according to thirst, and if the gastritis is severe, no water whatsoever for several days.
The fast will be uncomfortable and painful but this has to be endured in the relative short-term to effect a complete cure.
Bed rest is essential as is warmth at all times, with freedom from stress.
The fast may be as long as 25 days or more, but you would be well-advised to consult an experienced fasting specialist in the Natural Hygiene tradition as the ideal option.
If this is not possible, then carry-out the above, but you MUST conduct your fast properly and even more importantly, break it correctly.
We can advise you accordingly when that stage is reached.

The cause of your "itis" is purely catarrhal which has caused the inflammation: remove the cause (toxemia via fasting) and you will achieve full health.
