On a website which sells Amla powder it says the following about the "amount" of vitamin C Amla actually contains. Are the correct in their statement? I am pasting their entire description, although I realize it's lenghty.
This same question was brought up a while back. And even though much of the effect of amla is from its tannins, it is also a good source of vitamin C. And the vitamin C has 12 times the activity of the synthetic vitamin C, so it is not necessary to have massive amounts of C in the fruits to have a lot of benefits.
