The poster mentioned moreless as a comparison, of how people are treated on other forums when asking the same question.

You asked how we do our research, in regards to what Hv posts, I cannot speak for others, but in my own research I use a variety of ways to cross reference the information I find on this and other forums.

I always read the internet links provided, and cross reference them with other links and online information, I use my own knowledge, (I am a scientist), and use my own library of text books. I also use the public library system, and university library system, as both are very extensive, and these days you can use the internet to access library catalogues all over the country. I also ask other alternative practitioners that I know personally, and ask any of my friends that are also working in various fields of science.

It is very important to do your own research when embarking on any changes that can impact your health. This is encouraged on this forum.
