Re: Tough Break

Thanks so much for your nice, supportive post Lulu! And congratulations right back on all the good work you are doing for your own health. It took me four years of dedicated effort, but I reached my main cleansing goal four years ago, turning 50 with a clean pink colon! Raaaaayyyyyyy!

Digestivelly I had zero problems with the fast, or with the break. No problems. My objection remains the weakness, which I feel is absolutely unnecessary in a long fast. As you say, the fast IS your life, which is ok if you have the time to dedicate, which I did... but I didn't feel right about taking myself to such a low state of energy when I am accustomed to feeling like superwoman through even very long fasts, and right through the break. I am used to continuing long walks where I sweat, and lifting light weights while fasting! On water all I could do was draaaaag myself out to water my yard and draaaaag myself back! Whew.

I don't think it should be that hard. Not for me! I will happily layer 2, 3, even 5 or more days of water into a juice fast, but will never allow my energy to become so sapped.

Day 5 today, I cleaned my house yesterday but had to sit down between chores. Today I feel good, but not supercharged, as I usually do after a cleanse. I hope what others say is true, and this will come about with time. I am prepared to continue the break until that time.

My best to all,
Somer
