Re: Ooh, may I play?

Both of these subjects are of great interest to me.
I too believe in two seperate creations at seperate times.
However I don't believe the people Cain was afraid of were Neanderthal at all.I think they were just like you and me. I believe there were two creations. Chapter one being the first and chapter two being the geneological creation of Christ.
Seems to me that teaching Adam and Eve were the first humans, and the parents of the human race is teaching evolution. Depending on the race they were. Say for instance they were white. Then they would have white children. Or black they would have black children.
But they would not even then have many races of children any more than we can do that today.I personally believe that the Adam and Eve story is a direct line of the geneology of Jesus Christ showing from start to finish, Gods hand in realtionship to our Savior, not just the fact that Mary became pregnant by God.

I also read the Sons of God to be 'angels'. And the daughters of men to be human women. Given in marriage or not is beside the point. They weren't given to sin either. But they fell and sinned by taking the daughters of men as wives, all they chose, creating the giants of the old testament. The reason for Noah's flood. To wipe out the giant off spring.

Geez look at the size of the these guys we call giants.
Goliath being 6 cubits and a span.
They would have had to come from some super natural being in my mind.

1 Sa 17:4 And there went out a champion out of the camp
of the Philistines, named Goliath, of Gath,
whose height was six cubits and a span.

If you use the standard cubit (20"/cubit and 9"/span), Goliath's
height would be:

Height = (6 cubit * 20"/cubit + 9") * 1ft/12" = 10.8 feet
This might be possible and would explain the extreme fear he instilled in the Israelites as he mocked them for 40 days.

Well no wonder they were like grasshoppers in the sight of the Philistines and in their own sight! They were scarily huge. Not just tall boys.

Jude verse 6 tells us that the angels that kept not their first estate, but left their own habitation, reserved for them selves chains under darkness unto the jugdgment of the great day. I think Jude is talking about our fallen angels of Genesis here. Jude also tells us that Enoch ,the seventh from Adam, prophesied of the these yet our current bibles are silent on Enochs writings. I had to get the book of Enoch and read it for myself. Wow what a great read.It says what Genesis says only in great detail. Wonder why this writing got slighted? Makes the Genesis account even more exciting. I never doubted the Sons of God or daughters of women before, then after reading Encoh it was a confirmation for me.

My thoughts anyways.
Blessing to all who love The Father and His Son Jesus
