I want to start Oil Pulling, but....

Hi,

I have somewhat receding gums.

Because of this, there are now vertical spaces between my front teeth. Cosmetically, they are not pretty. It's like there's food between my teeth. (In reality there are just holes)

I want to start Oil Pulling to at least halt this process. Although I hope there's a possibility that the gums grow back a little due to the OP. (is this even possible?)

However, I read on this forum that some people actually had their spaces between teeth increase due to OP.

Before starting this OP routine, I need to be sure that OP will, at least, not promote receding gums, or enamal erosion.

Can somebody clear these issues up for me?
I'll be very grateful for it!
