Re: Help! Treating lymphoma and uterine fibroids
Bloodroot is very caustic and needs to be used with great care. I have seen some people seriously injure themselves with the herb. There are much better and safer alternatives.
For the fibroids the hormones need to be brought back in to balance. Digestive bitters and B vitamins are very effective for this. The bitters help to cleanse the liver, which breaks down excess hormones in the body. B vitamins are required for the liver to do its job of breaking down those excess hormones. You can find bitters at any health food store. Ignore the directions on the bottle, this much is not needed. Bitters work by stimulating the bitter receptors on the tongue. This in turn stimulates the vagus nerve causing the liver to flush. So all that is needed is enough to taste the bitters. I recommend 1/2 dropper full on the tongue three times daily with meals.
It is also important to build up the intestinal flora as the flora break down the estrogen metabolites. Kefir and fiber sources will help this. I especially like rice bran for a fiber source since it also helps to balance the hormones due to the gamma oryzanol in the oil.
If she is on hormones including estrogen replacement or progesterone creams these can aggravate the condition. She should not go off cold turkey though.
As for the lymphoma, lymphomas are viral in origin. So antivirals are extremely important. The best ones for lymphomas are pau d' arco, chaparral and andrographis. They work best when combined. Recommended dose is 2 capsules of each 3 times daily at least 20 minutes before meals. It generally takes 1 to 2 months to get rid of lymphomas this way.
