This brings up another issue with the store-bought b-milk! How do we know whether the manufacturer added the salt before or after fermentation???
IMHO, all most of the store-bought stuff is good for is to get a starting " mother" strain in order to ferment it oneself with the best quality milk one can find. Then you KNOW what you have got, and can modify it to benefit your particular needs.
With all this discussion, I may give the b-milk another try!
