 I wonder what it is in seaweeds that support the hypothalamus. Some trace mineral? Iodine? I don't think it's iodine; because I've used iodine for years in mild dosage; then for half a year in large dosage. Oh well, I'll take your suggestions anyway. They haven't failed yet and make a lot of sense.

 
Essential fatty acids in the seaweeds are one of the primary nutrients for the hypothalamus. The seweeds are good for the endocrine system in general. And since so many of the glands interact the support of one gland can support other glands as well.
