Question about iodine, candida, and the need to calm the emotional storms in the beginning
I've been supplementing with
Iodine for over a year and a half now, and for a few months, a clear case of systemic candida was going on in my body. Using the FAQ, I found iodine's power over it, and over time it wiped out the candida.
I'm writing because my wife, who is at present rather cautious of iodine, is seeking to deal with her candida. Her cautiousness comes from a night when she tried two drops with C and magnesium. Within 30 minutes, she was one mean b****!! I thought PMS was light duty after that. So, I'm stuck with this right now. I'm wondering if it's possible to try again. I'm asking for imput.
If it were bromides, would it have had such an instant reaction? I was a real ass when I first started using iodine--a big one! I purposely used only 1 drop at a time because I would be livid within an hour or less. Knowing this, I always started salt loading right away. Yet as the months passed, the reaction stayed. I finally started selenium, and the tantrums halted. Whew!! I've done 12-20 drops daily since.
I believe selenium is used to handle the mercury kicked up. Am I correct? I still have my
Amalgam fillings, and I know why I get ornery sometimes. Thus, lots of selenium. But she doesn't have any fillings. My only knowledge of possible intake are birth control injections she had back in the 80's. Maybe, maybe not.
Am I missing the obvious? Could Selenium help? Or could it be something else?
