Re: Question about second-hand cigarette smoke
I'm glad this thread continued. I have no doubt Trap will agree with you. To be fair, you mentioned nicotine in your first post, which is a bit mis-leading, because nicotine is also in the natural cigs Trap has admitted to smoking.
I, too, could not handle the commercial cigarette smell, second-hand smoke, etc. I just don't like it.
However, two of my local gal-pals smoke the same brand that Trap has mentioned that he smokes and the smell is actually very pleasant to me - quite like cigar and pipe tobacco is to me. (I always LOVED it when my uncle lit his pipe, or when we had a guest that smoked cigars when I was a kid - I LOVED being in the same room JUST to smell that tobacco!)
I can admit, though, that since starting on iodine, the commercial cigarette smoke still 'bugs' me, but it doesn't stop me dead in my tracks like it used to BEFORE I started supplementing with my beloved iodine. So, to 'sort of' answer your question, well, in my personal opinion anyway, I believe that my body has been eliminating the toxins that have built up over the years.
BOTH of my parents smoked 2 1/2 to 3 packs a DAY of the commercial cigarettes - and my childhood was miserable because of it. This following sentence will be yucky to many, but after 2 1/2 years of iodine-supplementation, I still have the occasional bowel movement that smells like a dirty, nasty wet ashtray. I actually love that because I know my body is eliminating those poisons!
Hope that helps.
