Fasting is beautiful!! (Day 2) / Exercise suggestions??
Hello everyone! I am on Day 2 of my fast and it has been beautiful!! So far I feel better than before by a mile, and I actually have already lost "five" pounds! Okay, so I know probably a good portion of that is water weight, but you've got to admit it is still encouraging for the time being!
Other things on the agenda...I am currently drinking sparkling mineral water. It has an extremely low salt content and CO2 in the water, but if someone thinks it is contrary to fasting, please let me know. I was told by others it didn't disrupt ketosis, but again please let me know.
My hunger was extremely strong yesterday around 4:00-5:00pm but I managed to overcome it by watching a comedy movie in the evening to take my mind of it! =)
Lastly, as I have said, this fast I am probably the most concerned with losing weight as I detox, because I would like to lose at least 20
pounds and get to a healthier weight. So I am going to try and add exercises starting Day 3. (I was told you don't use as much muscle after day 3 so I thought I would wait until then). I walk at least a mile everyday to work, and I am thinking of adding an hour of treadmill (about 3 miles) in the evenings to rev my metabolism (sorta) and lose more weight.
Can anyone recommend any additional exercises for weight loss while fasting? Thank you!
