insurance may cover the counseling for nutritionists if "you have a disease that needs counseling where the patient cannot manage without professional knowledge" --thats for united health...
one of the first things to do for both of you is to take hcl plus with betaine, pepsin, and (not neccissarily) ox bile...and also digestive enzymes with every meal.
for hcl start with one pill 324 mgs betaine and raise by one every meal until you feel fire/bloating/gas(you will know), then decrease by one and wait for fire again, decrease by one and so on until you are at 0...but also eating foods you are intolerant to like fermented things can cause relapse and you may have to start again...i did my 3rd hcl course recently and hopefully the last...you may get up to 20 pills, so 6480 mgs with one meal. i got up to 14 (4536mgs) my first time before i had to start lowering, and it took about 2-3 weeks in total..then i relapsed and the same thing ONLY TAKE WITH FULL MEAL NEVER WITH SALADS
you can follow directiions on enzyme bottles and take 1-2 at each meal or whatever it says (my naturopath sayd enzymes werent even neccisary to begin with, but they help to cool the fire down when you do reach your max)
gastric mucin complex taken 15 mins before meals can help you with allergic reactions/ soothe lining
try the
Rotation Diet to see what you are allergic/ intolerant to and cut them out for good...eat low carbs with lots of veggies
and take fiber/absorbant pills (coloncleanse/
Bentonite clay/activated charcoal)every morning noon and night. if you take with diatomatious earth that will help kill candida amd MSM will help loosen it from your intestines...take all together
this was the greatest help i had when my symptoms were getting really bad....
proper stomach acid is the first thing to get you on your way!
