You might want to try blending for its the king of frugal.I blend everyday and juice a couple of times during the week.I juice carrot and Celery and spike that with herbs.Ginger and garlic are my favorite and they are cheap.I understand where you are coming from,juicing is very wasteful from a phyto-nutrient and fiber stand point.Oh ya adding algae is a great way to spike nutrient density.I get my bluegreen algae from iherb.com and buy it by the 4lbs. bucket.Hope this helps and happy juicing.
