You are quite correct in what you are saying about the course of events, but I don't think its just about oil. I think its about capitalism, monopoly captialism. And the good American like the good German doesn't seem to care. As a news commentator said, sure we can get 2000 people out to protest the war at McDil Air Force Base, but 65000 come out to see the Bucs. So, on the one hand, Bush is a real danger to civil liberties, but on the other hand no one, or only a very few, will ever wake up until the Justice Department drags them out of their bed at three o'clock in the morning. And from another angle, Bush is inevitable. It has to come to this. The real question is, will we or can we survive the inevitable--or can the world survive the inevitable. The international Corporations aren't talking about million dollar investments; they talk in terms of billions.
