Re: Incurable fungal infections
I don't know if you ever got any help with this, but you have my prayers. I too think I have a systemic fungal infection and also have heard nothing but NO from doctors for even TESTING or diagnosing for it. They did a blood test at my request and very expensive to my pocketbook which had all kinds of elevated levels of aspergillosis, claudisporum (sp?) and a few others I recognized as the "TOXIC" kind of mold, but they told me that means nothing and they didn't think it was worth following up.
Then why did they let me pay for the tests in the first place??!!!
It is very scary act like anything to do with mold is something to be denied, ignored, swept under the rug, and where do you go from there?
Like you, I have been seeking my own solutions online, which have been haphazard, and without any clear knowledge of which ones work, which combinations, how much, how long, and, just plain "HOW?" -- it is really mind-numbingly confusing.
I am scared. But your case is so much worse I wish you could find a doctor who could help you correctly. I think your home is the first culprit, but after you are sickened, everything else out there that doesn't make EVERYONE sick will still make YOU sick.
I want to be CURED. I want to be NORMAL AGAIN. Maybe that is too much to ask; maybe all I can do is use a lot of self-discipline and get BETTER, and keep this stuff from progressing.
I sure would like to hear from someone out there with a fungal infection of the skin who found a solution. Of course the skin symptoms do not negate the infection being other areas as well, I think it has to be systemic if it is on the skin in more than one area, even if it is not always APPARENT in more than one area.
