Thanks for responding, everyone!

I did unplug the doggy pads, did't help. He loves those, I have them throughout the house for him to lay upon if he chooses, and regular bedw s/o them. (pampered, yes)

I did discover a flea yesterday, the citronella natural stuff is good, but not perfectly flea-proof. He is usually overly sensitive to flea bites.

Today I will bring a urine sample to the vet to rule out a UTI.

Poor fella. If only they could speak!

I appreciate the input...I will keep you all up-to-date on the situation.
