cold cream, should i carry on?

Ok so i recently started to wonder if my Acne could be due to demodex mites. Having been aware of this possibility for a while but not really wanting to tackle it, i focused on other types of cleansing like liver flushes, having my Amalgams removed and eating well which helped a lot.
I was looking on here a while ago and discovered that i wasnt the only one complaining of the itchy ,crawling feeling and that it seems to be associated with these mites, so i started using cold cream, leaving it on at night and washing off in the morning. The first day my skin looked really good, none of the redness i normally have but the itching was getting much worse. The strange thing was, i started to get spots in other places (where i wasnt using the cream) like my back and even my arms, Could this be the mites running away?
Anyway ive been using it for a week now and my skins looking pretty bad. I dont mind too much if i know its helping and i was expecting to get breakouts from killing mites but i want to be sure that is whats happening and its not some other reaction to the cold cream..
