Re: enemas & supplements
This was my fourth day of doing enemas, and this morning I managed to get around 1.5
quarts in (salt water), maybe a little more, and managed to hold it for about 15 minutes. I have a 2
quart combination set I got from Rite Aid. Frankly I was a little surprised. The first day, between my fear of penetration, ineptitude, and a colon that has never been invated from that end before, several tries led to maybe 1 cup. Then I had trouble holding it in.
Thanks for the advice on the coffee, I'll lay off for a bit. I did it after the salt water, and got much less in, and was able to hold it for much shorter time (2 minutes, then 5 minutes, 2 times). It got really painful and I just had to listen to my body and "get it out of here"! So perhaps my body was saying "too much coffee."
I'm really starting to enjoy my cleanse. Feeling a little deprived, not able to eat all that bad food I love, but I also feel like it's to a greater purpose, and I'm able to stick with it. I've spent maybe $100 on organic fruits, vegetables, coffee, celtic
Sea Salt (very pricy!) in the past 5 days.
For what it's worth, I've been doing my enemas in my morning bath. It makes the waiting comfortable, massaging easy, no worries about spilling. And lying on my right side turned out to be important to getting it to flow in. (This is for anyone whose having trouble with enemas--it took me a lot of tries to get it right, and there's very little guidance anywhere.)
I'm still very open to advice and suggestions!
