thanks for the vote of confidence boots-I think you give me too much credit-there are many out there who are doing the same thing-but thanks anyway :)

Honestly, I dont know how much more we can accomplish except by word of mouth. even with the petiton, it really is just a matter of reaching one woman at a time.

Unfortunately, what the mirena seems to do is cause a hormonal imbalance ( of course the only problem), which all of our bodies respond to differently. there is very little tangible proof-we KNOW it started at insertion, we KNOW we started feeling better when it was removed, but......

Every thing I read from all the posts, is that the imbalance manifests itself differently in all of us, probably where we have existing weak spots-everyone does-and triggers other problems. Now, not only do we have hormonal imbalance to conquer (almost impossible to prove) but also various health issues which are almost impossible to directly link to the mirena.

Really, I think the best way many of us would be able to fight bayer is if we can find silicone in our systems-dont know if that is even the cause, or provable, but I am curious to see how nile's tests come out. I plan on asking for the silicone antibody test on thursday when I see the rheum.

I think the most important thing for all of us is to trust our gut. I found a wonderful doc-she doesnt have the answers-but she doesnt mind the questions-I think I am a pest, and apologize profusely when I call. she is always gracious and understanding.

She is on board about the possibiltiy of Antibiotics for my problems, but she also want me to see the rheum, just to rule out anything else autoimmune. she already has the next doc lined up if I dont get any answers from this one. I wish I could clone her for all of you. I think it is so imperative to get respect. I have seen so little of it in so many of your posts, in dealing with our MD's.

so hehehe-STILL NOT going on Dr. Phil! but I will keep posting and providing info when I can!

Oh, and I think one of the most important things we all need to do....is let it go. Yes, I feel like I lost so much time with my children. But stewing over it is taking even more! My sons calling me to tuck him in now! so I GOTTA GO! ***HUGS*** to all of you!
