FYI.. I oppose the use of soap enemas, and here’s the reason why: you have a natural double layer of phospholipids ( fat) surrounding each cell- known as the lipid bilayer. Among its many benefits, it protects the cells. Soap is VERY bad for the colon as it is a detergent, and detergents demulsify the cells- stripping the fat, leaving them vulnerable to all sorts of bacteria, toxins and parasites. Scientists use detergents in the lab for this reason. BTW, this is common knowledge among both mainstream and alternative health practitioners. In hospitals, soap enemas were widly used at one time but are now thought to cause colon cancer.
If your doctor is still encouraging you to use soap enemas, tell him NO as it is an unnecessary health risk.
