Aren't your doctors aware that progersterone affects smooth muscle ie:stomach, intestines, esophagous? I had a bout of diarrhea once a month for 6 months while on ortho tri cyclen lo. My obgyn told me that progesterone affects smooth muscle and I should get off that pill. I thought he knew everything until he told me the mirena would be better for me. Ever since I've had it out (5 mos.) I've had bowel problems. Tweet
