I looked up info on IP-6 briefly yesterday after reading your post. It definitely looks interesting and very promising!! How much/what strength are you giving your dog? Haley is 30 pounds, so I will need to figure out an amount to give.

I did feed raw food, but it was the frozen kind from Nature's Variety. Lately she has been getting cooked food, but it is just lean meat (deer meat when my friend had extra or ground turkey) and vegetables. She gets no grains. Well, she gets a little in the dry food I put out before work (only 1/3 cup). She never wanted to eat in the morning, so I would put out food just in case she got hungry during the day. I used to get the grain-free and she would eat it occasionally. She had a high BUN level on one of her test results (was near the high end of normal since the time I adopted her), so I decided to temporarily switch to Nature Variety's regular formula and she absolutely loved it, eating it every day, so I just kept giving it to her. The vet tried to blame the BUN level on the raw food and high protein levels, even though she had high/normal values before she started that diet. I give her a kidney supplement and an immune strengthener supplement, and her levels are better than they ever were.

Since your dog had the same phosphorus issues and had to get his teeth pulled, maybe it is related to the tooth issue. Possibly it is something that would normalize after removing the bad teeth.

Thanks for info on IP-6. I will definitely try it. I think I remember reading about it in some people's protocols for cancer treatment.
