Re: what about a hemangioma?
Hi hanna,
I have some questions for you about liver flushing. I have two cavernous hemangiomas in my liver. Over the past three months the doctor has ordered lots of tests. I have had ultrasound, CT scan, HIDA scan, IVP for kidney stones, and a colonoscopy and upper endoscopy. They all came back okay except for showing the hemangiomas. I really feel like I have a
kidney stone even though the IVP came back showing no obstructions. Right now I cannot tell if I am having gallstone pain or
kidney stone pain. It seems too high for kidney pain, but I do have pain travelling down in my back and into my groin. It is strange, but occasionally I have burning in my urethral area and it is not associated with urinating. I am thinking of doing a flush (did two back in the end of 2008). That is when all of this pain started in my right side. At times it is burning and travels up to my shoulder blade and in the past month, it is in the middle of my upper back during the night. Occasional nausea during the day. It comes in waves, just like the pain.
Have you done a lot of flushing with your hemangiomas? I am wondering if it is safe? Could the hemangioma rupture from doing a flush? I just wanted to know your experiences since you said your daughter and you have them. Getting really down from being in pain and not knowing what it is. My husband thinks I am a hypochondriac. The pain is real and I am just not myself and not keeping up on tasks. My doctor said the next step she wants to do is a chest xray. I wonder if she is thinking there is a tumor in my lung or something. I have had two chest xrays in the last eight months and the radiologists did not remark about finding anything in the lungs.
Thanks, Snoopy
