Thanks for your tips! OK, I have been swimming and to a local gym where I am, and my fitness comes up as "average" on a treadmill with a test program. I guess that's good for me, as I was once a wreck. It will continue to improve.
I saw a woman swimming in the pool, and I have improved my technique. I was also breathless, and tired. I have started to eat carbs and protein.
It is not critical that I pass this swimming test, so I won't bust a ball trying to make it, however if I do all well and good.
I'll let you know if my speed improves after the increased eating. A bit busy myself though, so not sure when.
