Re: Regarding the slowing moving intestinal tract (Edited)
Sacristia,
feeling nauseated and sickness on a fast, sometimes accompanied by vomiting, is very very hard to bear.
My first fast of 25 days was almost entirely nauseated and with diabolical symptoms of elimination: this was a very trying period in my life, but was a do or die situation in the recovery from Leukemia. A very strong motivator if ever there was one.
Enemas will not alleviate nausea, as toxins within the bowel and digestive tract are truly not the cause.
Some toxins will find their way into your stomach via bile with other effluent material, as the body will use every avenue at its disposal in elimination.
Rest assured that in most cases, nausea only lasts for very short periods of time, depending on the level of toxins within the body.
If you can endure, then your body will thank you profoundly after the fast is broken, which is an absolute certainty.
Nature is unrelenting and unforgiving for past transgressions of her laws and will now be a question of relying on her in achieving the very best results for your body.
Just hang in there....... you will thank me and yourself post-fast if you do.
