There is really no need to do that, if you are worried about becoming too acidic due to a starving cycle or something then switch to Ester-C and the tiny amount of calcium will fix that.
This is what I do when I take DMSA overnight and it works well.
One thing you do NOT want to do is take it regularly, let your body decide what the PH should be. It reacts to toxins and detoxes and viruses by adjusting continually up and down. Also Baking soda kills stomach acid so unless bound to Maple Syrup I wouldn’t use it.
The Maple Syrup + Baking Soda thing on the other hand does have some value. The point is that you don't need a lot and you don't need it often but 1/2-1tsp first thing in the morning isn't a bad thing for most.
If properly done and taken on an empty stomach the sugar bypasses the stomach and is taken up in the small intestine without much stomach involvement. The cancers I can claim it works on are opportunistic Candida carcinomas and Leukemia which appears to require Hg toxicity and a Barium Chemtrail dump.
I have used Canada #3 for this but if you go to Wiki you will find a comparison to Grade B Amber I believe for US grading. It must be that grade the others do not work, and you should freeze the bottle first to make sure no sugar has been added (there will be crystals if they did).
