Re: Jaw clenching dreams

HunnyBee - I DO clench my teeth every night, while I sleep. I can't sleep with my mouth flopping open, my throat getting dry... the dentist pointed that out, and made me a plastic "guard" I wear while sleeping so I won't fracture my teeth.

The interesting thing is, over my life I rarely have had any sort of nightmare. The only dreams that upset me were dreams that involved my teeth - losing a tooth, or several, or them decaying, turning brown, etc.
I've never even had a cavity, my teeth are quite nice. Someone said it represented my vanity, not sure about that. I wonder if "teeth" or "jaw" dreams have any association with physical jaw clenching during sleep. Sorta like when you dream you're going to the bathroom... and wake up wetting the bed!
