Re: Jim Humbles new Brochure... Problems

Hello Rken,

What I find interesting is that the bulk of people report adverse effects when they get to 8 - 10 drops. There are a few that report issues with fewer drops, but most people do just fine with the lower concentrations.

I have run tests with several people and we have found that if you activate and dilute in such a way that you keep the concentration of free ClO2 low (1 - 5 PPM), you can take take 12 - 15 drop doses without experiencing the adverse effects. This is without the gradual build up. However, when the concentration of free ClO2 gets to 10 PPM or above, adverse effects are observed even by healthy people.

Since, in many cases, the adverse effects are related to the concentration of the free ClO2, I think the adverse effects are caused by mild ClO2 poisoning. Poisoning is not usually referred to as oxidative stress, but since we are dealing with a strong oxidizer perhaps we can make an exception in this case.

What is more intriguing is those that experience adverse effects at very low doses of 1 - 2 drops. This is an area that need more study.

Tom
