Re: Hypothyroid and Adrenal Fatigue

hey 333333 ~
my cortisol levels are all over the place - low or virtually non-existent when they are meant to be high - and vice versa. and i have high reverse-t3 levels. my tsh, t3 and t4 are 'normal' although i have symptoms of both hyper- and hypo- thyroid. my blood pressure is perfect. so it's not cushings.

i have had severe puffy/fluid retention for about 3 years, which is exacerbated by movement. i got rid of most of it through fasting but now it is pretty bad again. the puffiness is migatory: sometimes i hold fluid in my legs or my arms or my hips or my hands or my feet - nowhere is exempt! - but now it's getting really uncomfortable. it also makes me feel really congested and tired and bleh. i'm thinking about fasting again - and it is a weary thought ;( - but i haven't found anything else that works.

i don't know why i've gotten puffy again - i'm just over 3 months into my Lugols supplementation - it could be the heatwave we've had for the past 3 weeks or the anti-inflammatory injections i had for a frozen neck. it's hard to know for sure... but i do know that i can't do too much about my healing regimen until the puffiness subsides - but i think it will probably involve SSKI , magnescent and pure ascorbic acid.

sheesh, when i get this thing licked once and for all, i might start my own puffy forum ;)

- lulu
