hey puppetmaster!
that's interesting about the high doses of vitamin c helping your adrenals. i have been taking a lot of c during the last 3 months (and i do occasional vitamin c flushes - and my bowel tolerance level has decreased from 32grams to 20grams) but i haven't really noticed any significant change to my adrenals yet (i have wilson's syndrome: high reverse t3 levels, wacked-out cortisol levels).
on your travels, have you heard anything about mainlining vitamin c? it has been suggested to me a few times and lately i've been considering it - as an adjunct to Iodine supplementation. layne beachley (the australian women's surfing champion) had cfs and underwent intravenous vitamin c treatments and swears by them.
i am on Lugols at the moment - about 20-30 drops a day - and i feel better on high doses but it still gives me insomnia. i also still have ridiculous fluid retention - everywhere.
i'd be really interested in your advice.
thank you!
