Re: Hypothyroid and Adrenal Fatigue

A low TSH is usually more indicative of hyperthyroid as opposed to hypo. So maybe if your swinging from hypo to hyper you might want to test for antibodies as it is possible you might have hashi's. Also if your doctor tested your adrenals w/ a blood test in my opinion this can be useless for the simple reason that the ranges in the blood tests won't detect adrenal fatigue unless you are producing no cortisol at an addison's level or are producing way to much which is seen in cushing's. Saliva is the best way to go IMO.

Speaking from experience and having pretty sever AF and hashimoto's I can say that Iodine has really helped my adrenals and thyroid in many regards. It gets the hormones and endocrine system communicating better in general.

However it does depends on the dosage, preparation of iodine, and the supportive companion nutrients you use. When I tried larger (or smaller doses for that matter) of Lugols I felt really exhausted. Since I've been using magnascent and Trapper's SSKI I feel alot has been possible in my life that wasen't previous. I can still feel a detox at higher doses of both but I am only using those higher doses for my own personal experimentation.

Hope this helps.
