Re: 2 Questions - 5% or 2% Lugol's, and "bio-identical" hormones

I'm familiar with Dr. Lee's work way before I knew about iodine. (I still have the book as a matter of fact.) I stand again and say that it's still a band-aid solution for the simple fact that if your hormone receptors aren't functioning properly, you won't be able to use all of the progesterone no matter how natural it may be. All hormone receptors in the body need Iodine to work. I personally used natural progesterone cream from a compounding pharmacy when I was suffering from severe mood swings brought on by rapid weaning of my daughter. I did find it to help, BUT I had to keep increasing the dosage to get the same effect (sound like synthroid or insulin anyone?). I finally quit taking it as it was going to get too expensive to keep up with the dosage.
