Re: Optimistic. Do not fear a cleanse. be smart and do things in order and listen to your body.
I felt great after my first liver cleanse. waited three weeks and repeated it. Here is what I learned. don't over do it, too soon and too fast. listen to your body and if you feel discomfort back off and let your body recover. the second flush I felt bad for a while and it disrupted my menstral cycle 10 days and asymptomatic pains in my liver and abdoman.I also had terrible acid reflux and its symptoms. My doctor told me that I was fine except for the reflux which we could slowly cure. I let my panic & worry get the best of me (that i might have done something damaging to myself). There is absolutely nothing toxic about taking Epsome salts, grapefruit and olive oil, If you are generally healthy. However you can send various internal valves and spincter muscles in to spasm with all the magnesium. My nutritionist said I had activated my liver that it wasn't pain that i was feeling more so than it was working hard and I was aware of it. It took about 2 weeks to get back to normal. I know I'm getting healthier with every little step. I follow Dr. D'Adaimos eat right 4 your blood type, and I always check recipies and herb lists according to my blood type tolerance. I'm glad I did the liver cleanse but I'm not going to over do it either. You did not build up your toxins overnight nor can you get them out in one night. Just like any weight loss program it takes time. If you feel discomfort you haven't damaged your self but you need to back off and let your body's healing process catch up with you. I'm 40 years old and I'm trying to redeem myself of all my old induldgences (ie: can, boxed food, soda, cigarettes, bourbon, chips, you get the idea) You can clean your body up just have common sence, not too fast or too strong and listen to your body. It has the miraculas power to heal itself if you feed it the proper nutritional foods & vitamines. The liver is the only organ capable of regeneration. Its all good ! God bless you for healing yourself! Just don't expect instant gratification immediatley.
