For reasons unknown, even after nearly a year on fiber, gentle laxative teas and aloe capsules, I started to get really backed up again. I found an old bottle of Julia Chang's Chinese Bitters (from sensiblehealth.com) in my cupboard and figured I would start with that again, then move to the Gold Coin Grass for the stones in preparation for a flush. Probably not a coincidence that things are really moving well again, almost a little too well.... I know that any kind of "bitters" usually aid in digestion, so it might be worth keeping a bottle on hand.
