Re: Cough!
Hi clubnicole. I am sure you want to help sweety1984, but let me tell you my story.
I fasted too, and I lost 70
pounds during several fasts, though the longest I did was 27 days. I recorded my weight daily when fasting, on alternate days when not fasting, see my weight ticker at
http://www.tickerfactory.com/ezticker/weight_loss.php/wjfZGk0
(yes I have put on a bit, and going to address that with another fast and exercise once I am happy with my refeeding).
I also checked my urine with Medi-test Combi 10 test strips, temperature with a digital thermometer, heart with a stethoscope, blood pressure with a wrist meter, and asked so many questions on this forum before I started I probably tired a few people. But I was confident about fasting, and I lost a lot of weight.
I got loads of compliments, and emails, asking me how I did it. For me it was easy. Later though I noticed that some people who were emailing me were following a different pattern to me, and had difficulties and kept coming back here month after month. The usual "go on, you can do it" encouragement from me didn't seem to work with them.
I now realise that to do a fast you have to do it PROPERLY. I did it properly, but sweety1984 is not doing it properly. Her hair is falling out and she has no energy to take a bath - see her latest post at
//www.curezone.org/forums/fm.asp?i=1340039#i
"but now also i want to do exercise but i cant i realy feel tired and i dont have the strength to take a bath"
Let me state something quite clearly. If you or I had lived sweety1984's life I believe you or I would probably be doing the same thing as her, so I am in no way being critical of her. If you want to know more about my thinking and debate this with me, click on my icon and see my other posts, look for them in all forums not just water fasting.
It is my aim to help sweety1984, but for her I think she is undernourished, and needs to refeed urgently, on a high quality diet. Her weight is of no consequence, what matters is her health. I understand what sweety1984 is going through to a certain extent, but I have not had that experience personally. However I do have real life friends that have had similar problems, and some not so real life ones, and I know what harm this can do.
So I would be very encouraged if you and others would take the trouble to read her previous posts and answer her calls for help with a bit of thought. You can see them here
//www.curezone.org/forums/s.asp?f=762&ob=d&c=0&t=150&m=sweety1984
So come on people, instead of "you can do it sweety", lets have a "we can do it for sweety1984". Lets help her be happy. Let's give her back the life she probably never thought she had.
We can do it!
Steve
