Re: Alternative Health Seekers Beware
One view of "racism" is as an illness. While I cannot speak for CZ or others, my take is that CZ is a medium of information exchange that people can choose or not choose to visit to learn about health issues. If "racism" is an illness, then would it not be better to try to help a person who is exhibiting its symptoms, instead of condemning a medium of information transfer that has been proven to help several millions of people ?
Certainly, CZ does not condone "racism" any more than it condones cancer or
parasites or any other illness - rather it is merely a medium by which those having various conditions can exchange information towards self-betterment. Just as no reasonable moderator promotes cancer in people, no moderators I've seen condone "racism", leprosy or thyroid illness, etc. If they did, their tenure as "moderator" would rightfully be terminated faster than a horse's tail on a gnat.
Every group - religions, racial, athletic, you name it, is composed of about 95% of people who just want to live their lives as happily as they can and raise their families, etc. The remaining 5% contains agitators, provocateurs, etc. who will try to use issues of differences among people to divide them- its an extremely effective political tool that appeals to people's primitive brain regions. While many fall for it, most don't - rather, they just focus on their lives, goals, etc. and don't bother anyone.
Immigrants always encounter resistance. The English in America were resisted by the native Americans. Later, when the Germans arrived in Texas, they were the immigrants and there was a long feud. When the Irish started arriving in New York, signs went up - Irish not wanted. Later, it was Jews. Italians received the same. But not all the people of these groups fell for the nonsense put out by the 5% agitators. Some even fought back - the stories of Meyer Lansky as a youth are inspiring.
No group is immune from it - none.
Associating the German Fuhrer with CZ as a whole strikes me, and I'd guess probably 95% of others, as odd.
Treat "racism" as an illness, and don't attack someone who exhibits its symptoms any more than you would attack a woman having a breast tumor for having cancer. Instead, try to help them. If you don't think you can, then that's ok too - it's a tough illness .
I think that hating racists is like hating people with
Breast Cancer or any other illness, and is probably not right. We should rather try to help them instead of falling into the snare set by that 5%.
