Re: rifing, burst bacteria, & inflammation

>- It may be counter-productive (and sometimes even dangerous) in a bacterial
infection, to "burst" the bacteria (akin to the common rife idea of "blowing up
bugs" as proven under a microscope) - as opposed to debilitating the bacteria in
some other way.

Your post is excellent information and is a valid consideration but as discussed in the article there are alternate considerations. If inflamatory response is a concern then a NSAID is in order. This is frequently not administered due to other concerns.

I have heard a lot of negative comments about aspirin in the past, but personally, I feel that it is beneficial to take a low dose aspirin after zapping to limit the 'herx' response. Aspirin is a beneficial NSAID provided it is taken in reasonable dosage and with the proper foods.

As for immobilizing microbes vs blowing them up, I think that this again has dependencies. For example, in extreme cases of influenza (Spanish flu, H5N1, etc ) and certain similar infections ( SARS, ebola, etc ) where it is actually the inflamatory response that causes death, it is better to destroy the microbe swiftly to keep it from multiplying. I do wish to note that all of the above mentioned are viral in nature. The immune system attacks any cell that is infected in these cases so it is of paramount importance to stop the infection rapidly.

ALso, I think that a lot would depend on the extent of the infection as well as the type. Consider MRSA and other Antibiotic resistant strains such as new strains of C. difficle. WHile sometimes slow in progression, these infections definitely need to be stopped in their tracks quickly.

I also think that there is another consideration that is not mentioned. Many microbes contain endotoxins that will be released when they are destroyed. These toxins contribute to the increased inflamatory response.

In the final analysis, I agree that any treatment should take the inflamatory response into consideration as well as the rapid demise of the infecting organism. This can be effected by using the proper NSAID along with microbial elimination.
