I have not concentrated on flukes, etc. It is interesting to note that the results were so quick. I previously thought that flukes died slowly after zapping because they were not killed directly but rather died because their symbiotic organisms were killed.
Since flukes do not have cell walls, I wonder what the mechanism is.
The main reason that zapping does not kill us and other higher organisms is that our cells do not have cell walls but have flexible cell membranes instead which do not shatter.
