It's well worth learning all you can about Iodine so stick at it and try to read all the R posts and FAQs. I'm still finding interesting past posts after 6 months and there are some very good links Vulcanel has been reposting recently.
Johnnys right about the parasites though, If you had that many it seems unlikely you entirely got rid of them, at that time anyway
