Re: Colloidal silver and pets

Yes, I have seen the tests conducted by Sovereign Silver which "prove" their product is superior.  Why am I shocked to see such results?  Maybe because I have seen scores of other companies post their own proof and claims that their product is somehow unique and better than all the rest.

The other study, which I have also seen, was conducted solely to prove that uncontaminated small particle silver does not accumulate in the body and cause Argyria.  It did nothing to prove ionic silver was as good as or better than colloidal silver.

Insofar as proof is concerned, how do you account for the tests on ionic products and home generated products versus Mesosilver true colloidal silver which demonstrate a huge disparity in surface area and effectiveness for given PPMs?  Despite being essentially self tests themselves, I have reason to believe that they were actually conducted (in part because I have seen independent lab results that duplicated some of the results).  The only skewed values in those tests come from the fact that they refused to test Utopia Silver after Ben Taylor bought the company and refined their process.

Two questions:

First, why would an MIT grad and former NASA worker spend 1000s of hours and half a million dollars developing a more complex and unique system to produce the best possible silver product when he could have simply spent a few thousand dollars on high quality commercial electrolysis equipment if ionic silver was superior?

Second, why is it that, while I see lots of positive testimonials for just about every product, I almost never see messages to the effect that Mesosilver of Utopia Silver failed to work where another product was successful - while I have seen many messages stating just the opposite, and spoken to many people who have told me just the opposite?

If ionic silver really was the best, then both Frank Key and Ben Taylor would make ionic products and simply hype them as the scores of ionic silver, silver dust, protein silver, and other types of silver product makers do?  It is a much simpler and less expensive process.  They could just lie and use that process instead of what they have.

Anybody can buy Scientific proof - just look at Merck and Vioxx.  Buying actual real life results is entirely different.

I doubt that we will ever agree, but I do agree that the Silver Puppy is a great machine.

Cheers,

DQ
