Give her good quality colloidal silver and lots of it. Start off with about an ounce in her drinking water, and then add several tablespoons each day. She will love the water, it will knock out her cold and congestion and if you continue after her cold is gone it will restore youth and friendliness to an extent you will find hard to believe.
