I agree. Her doc is so far gone it's not even funny. He has to be 70 and approaching retirement. I don't think he has read anything on halth since he graduated med school in the 50's or 60's. Mom will not listen if you put a gun to her head. She is stubborn that way. I watched Sloan Kettering (supposedly best cancer treatment there is) kill my dad 7 years ago. My mom still gets fund raising things in the mail from Sloan asking for donations. I write "f*** you, you murdering bastards" on it and mail it back.
