I understand the feeling. I was freaked out the first time I even thought of parasites in me or my kids. And when I SAW them! I was a nut for a while, lol! Orthinine is for you, for the insomnia. It is an amino acid that helps you sleep. It is the parasite toxins that cause the insomnia. I don't use it anymore, as it only happens when I detox and only for a night or two.
Kefir contains a lot of probiotics but they are different and some say stronger than yogurt. You can get "grains" that you put in milk (on ebay) and make your own. OR you can also buy it at most health food stores. Here is a site all about it http://users.sa.chariot.net.au/~dna/kefirpage.html.
It is an extensive site. My youngest got kefir milk in a bottle at about 18 months and she LOVED it (she was also breastfed). She is my healthiest kid, I think the kefir had a lot to do with it.
Also, you could try coconut milk and/or oil for the little one (really all of you). That is great for parasites (and other things like candida) and it is a wonderful food too.
