Re: Itching all over the body/Cured of hep C

Wow, i didn't know that the itching could be caused by hep c, but i had read that itching could be caused from liver disease. I didn't have any itching during my bout with hep c though. I was cured of hep c in 2003 after 11 months of peginterferon and lots of other meds. My liver is weak from having hep c for many years, so i have to be careful not to take too many meds. I came down with this itching after my daschund drank out of my milk drink one day. and i let her sleep with me for a time. The itching is strongest around my butt and i have to put noxema on there to try to keep the fungus/bacteria from itching me all over my body. It helped alot at first, but now the little bugs are getting used to it and the itching is getting worse again. I have an appt with a new dermatologist this wednesday for a second opinion. My regular dermatologist thinks its all in my head. thanks again,
